Monday to Wednesday were total write offs but Thursday rode around on his stallion and saved the day. One of my best friends has been in New Zealand for the past couple of months and flicked me a ‘Hey what are you doing? Want to get a late dinner?’ text. I was in my normal habitat (bed) watching t.v (Bones) in my pajamas and I thought ‘Why the fuck not?’ so we met up an hour and a couple of outfits later and got a dinner and shared a bottle of pinot gris. Her friend Cody joined us followed by his friend Will and after a couple of drinks at Ancestral we went to Mighty Mighty and drunk far too much beer then I cabbed home and grabbed a few hours sleep. On Friday night I managed to sleep from 7pm to 7am then caught up with my dad. I would love to share photos from both of these occasions but hey, turns out my lap top doesn’t want to co-operate with my iPod so you will just have to read what I wrote and accept that it happened without photographic evidence.
Later on Saturday dad and I drove out to Porirua to watch my sisters boyfriend play rugby. I forgot how awesome taking photos with my sister is. I know this is a tad over exposed but enjoy it for what it is okay?

We look nothing alike but we like all the same thangs which makes life fun except I’m a messy Gemini and she’s a Virgo right down to the t.
I think that this is a good time to mention that at the game a guy had a sweatshirt on that said ‘Hi haters’ I need one of these. Right after the game him and his mates fired up a joint and at the same time my dad, sister and I all look at each other, take in a deep are-they- smoking-weed breath, looked at each other and cracked up laughing. Only in Porirua!
On Sunday I went to the markets and spent the rest of the morning in the kitchen making soup and the most amazing pasta sauce via Smitten Kitchen. I had a quiet house to myself where I wasn’t hungover in what felt like the first time in forever, watched Bones then went for a nice leisurely stroll to Haitaitai and back. When I got back I looked out my window to this
Then listened to hoardes of screaming girls in booty shorts and home made One Direction t-shirts try to entice One Direction out of the St James. This one girl was losing her shit screaming to someone on her cell phone ‘OMIGOD! OMIGOD! OMIGOD! HARRY WAVED AT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!’ as she moved around the car park. It reminded me of my youth because I was exactly the same at that age.
